Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Mr Steel Penn (ranked 2620 p4p, 315 weight class) and Denubis Majere (ranked 1820 p4p, 238 weight class). Majere comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Man in Black kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Steel Penn closes the distance and pushes Majere back into the cage.
I was talking to Steel Penn's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Majere manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Our spies down at at Oblivion Gate inform us that Majere has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steel Penn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Majere swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Majere had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Steel Penn defends it easily.

Steel Penn drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Steel Penn seems to have locked his on tight now - Majere screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Steel Penn, as he picks up the win!
