Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vincent Lomax!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis throws a shot from downtown. Lomax moves away and avoids it.
Lewis misses with a takedown
and Lomax counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lomax misses with a body shot.
Lomax has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lewis is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Lomax punishes Lewis's body with a nice straight punch.
Lewis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lomax counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Derrick Lewis has been cut.
Lomax swinging wildly here.
Lewis drops his hands momentarily and Lomax takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lomax scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lomax blocks a jab.
Lomax swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Lomax misses with a two punch combination.
A little feinted left hand from Lewis on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've been hearing reports that Lewis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Lewis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lomax getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
A combination from Lomax does no damage.

Lewis is rocked!
Lewis takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Oh Lewis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vincent Lomax is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lewis looks to land a combination. Lomax sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lewis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lomax's waist but Lomax gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lewis off to one side.
Lewis seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derrick Lewis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lewis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lomax.
Lewis on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lomax stuffs the takedown.
A little jabbing left from Lomax on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lewis throws a front kick aimed at Lomax's knee but Lomax avoids it well.
Lewis fails with the takedown
and Lomax rattles Lewis with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Lewis tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Lomax dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Lewis stiff and motionless on the mat!
