Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kristofer Mueller (ranked 24512 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Porker (ranked 4911 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kristofer Mueller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jorge Porker!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mueller scores with a decent looking hook.

Porker gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Porker.

Porker pulls guard successfully.
Porker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mueller is controlling him.
Mueller being controlled here momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Porker wants to improve his position but instead Mueller has moved into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The fighters are battling for position here. Porker manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Porker managing to control the position.
Porker striking off his back, scoring a few points.
Mueller wants to control from the top but Porker keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Porker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mueller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mueller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Mueller won't allow Porker to get back to his feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Porker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mueller.
Mueller closes the distance but Porker moves to the side

and Porker counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Mueller!
Mueller is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Porker remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Porker wants to stand but Mueller has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mueller is trying to keep Porker in close.
Porker wants to stand and escape but instead Mueller has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Porker is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jorge Porker dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Mueller throws a push kick but Porker slaps the foot to one side.
Mueller misses with a looping left.
Mueller fails with a takedown attempt.

Porker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mueller napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Porker advances nicely into full mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Porker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Porker postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mueller looks a forlorn figure.

Mueller is working to get back to half guard.
Jorge Porker has got the better of the ground game so far.

Porker lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mueller hang on?

Porker lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Oh Mueller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Porker sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Porker lands a big shot to the head and Mueller winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
