Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rian MacFarlane (ranked 1946 p4p, 210 weight class) and Marcellus Clay (ranked 2455 p4p, 236 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think MacFarlane might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Foggy Dew. Marcellus Clay has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rian MacFarlane's chin.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
MacFarlane was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Rian MacFarlane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacFarlane lands with a thumping leg kick.
Clay doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
MacFarlane moves away from the strike by Clay.
MacFarlane scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Marcellus Clay has been cut.
No joy there for MacFarlane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
MacFarlane misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MacFarlane sizes up Clay with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
MacFarlane throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

MacFarlane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Clay misses with a wild body shot.
MacFarlane throws a lazy head kick
and Clay counters with a lovely straight right hand!
MacFarlane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clay was well out of range. Poor timing from MacFarlane.
Despite the aggression on Clay's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
MacFarlane has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Clay misses the shot to the body.
MacFarlane slips a straight right by Clay.
MacFarlane tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Clay keeps the fight on the outside.
MacFarlane lands with a straight right. Clay didn't see that one coming.
MacFarlane blocks the body kick.
MacFarlane thows a leg kick but Clay checks it
and Clay counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps MacFarlane thinking.

MacFarlane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Clay has time to react.
Clay connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
MacFarlane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Clay tried to score with a low kick but MacFarlane checks it.
Clay throws a hook to the side of MacFarlane's head but MacFarlane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Clay takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
MacFarlane lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Clay.
MacFarlane misses with a hook.

The fighters circling - MacFarlane throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Clay sends MacFarlane crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Clay is motioning to the referee to let MacFarlane up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
MacFarlane is rocked!
It looks like Rian MacFarlane has been cut.
Clay fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked MacFarlane out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Marcellus Clay!
Marcellus Clay thanked the fans post fight for their support.
In defeat, Rian MacFarlane stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry guys everything is still fuzzy... but I think he tapped out... so it is what it is... who am I again?'.
