Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Fitzsimmons (ranked 1125 p4p, 148 weight class) and Hector Stefan (ranked 1268 p4p, 175 weight class). Stefan has chosen Onward to Victory as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Fitzsimmons lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Fitzsimmons might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Jeez, Jim Fitzsimmons's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Fitzsimmons looks to throw the jab but Stefan is out of range.
Oh Fitzsimmons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stefan steps in with a hook that catches Fitzsimmons right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Stefan follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Fitzsimmons looks absolutely devastated.

Hector Stefan decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
