Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Callum Angell!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acevedo blocks a head kick by Angell.
As Angell looks to move away, Acevedo throws a big counter combo but Angell just gets out of the way.

Callum Angell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Angell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Acevedo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Acevedo lands a head kick. Angell smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Angell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Angell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Acevedo connects with a couple of short punches.

Angell is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Angell can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Acevedo is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Acevedo lands a couple of digs.
Acevedo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Angell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Acevedo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Acevedo is working Angell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Acevedo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Angell defends it well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kory Acevedo will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Acevedo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
