Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kwon Woo Lee (ranked 5400 p4p, 482 weight class) and Allen Kenneth (ranked 4622 p4p, 450 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kwon Woo Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Allen Kenneth!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee fails with a takedown attempt.
Kenneth wants to counter the offense by Lee and move into the clinch position.
Lee wants to clinch.
Kwon Woo Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kenneth rushes Lee and presses him up against the cage.
Kenneth can't get the takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kenneth has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Lee prevents Kenneth from breaking the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Kenneth throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Kenneth closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kenneth is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lee will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
It looks like Kenneth might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Lee is trying to control Kenneth's posture but Kenneth avoids it.

Kenneth with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Kenneth looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Lee wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Kenneth is looking for the choke from the back position but Lee is controlling his hands well.
Kenneth slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

I really don't envy Lee right now.
I would not like to be Lee right now.

Kenneth is looking for the choke from the back position but Lee is controlling his hands well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kenneth has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Lee's body.

Kenneth is not going to allow Lee to sit and survive in this position.
Lee is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Kenneth.

Kenneth is riding his opponent, not letting Lee buck him off.

Kenneth just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Let's hope that Kenneth has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kenneth is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Lee defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Kenneth is riding his opponent, not letting Lee buck him off.
Lee looking very determined here, making life difficult for Kenneth.
Lee trying to get back to his feet but Kenneth is in full control for now.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Kenneth is persistently looking for the submission but Lee is defending it well.

Lee is really stuck here.

Lee is trying to defend against the choke here but Kenneth has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Kenneth Tightens the hold and Lee taps out furiously! Kenneth displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
