Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 15865 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Lam Park (ranked 4953 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baki Hanma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Lam Park!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Park shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hanma defends it nicely.
Hanma swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Park tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hanma defends well and Park ends up having to push Hanma into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hanma avoids the head kick by Park.
Sloppy strikes from Park. Those never looked like landing.
Some wild striking there from Park.
Hanma seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hanma misses with a body kick.
Park shoots in for a takedown but Hanma shows good takedown defense.
Baki Hanma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Lam Park.
Hanma avoids the head kick by Park.

Park throws a head kick but Hanma moves out of range.
Park misses with a takedown attempt - Hanma sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jon Lam Park seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Park connects with a high kick.

Park moves into range and clinches up with Hanma.
Park is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Hanma has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Park avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Park wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hanma has him pressed against the cage.
Hanma fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hanma misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Hanma's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Park closes the distance and clinches.
Hanma tries to pull guard but Park won't allow it.

Hanma gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Park keeping hold of Hanma's head, controlling as best he can.

Park is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hanma pulls his head out easily.
Park is holding on to half guard well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hanma is thwarting Park's attempts to control the position.
Hanma thows a huge punch but Park dodges it nicely.
Hanma missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Hanma is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Park defends it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Park is controlling Hanma's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Park moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Park pulls Hanma in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hanma gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Park counters with a one-two to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Lam Park dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Park shoots in and bounces Hanma off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Hanma manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Park lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hanma backwards.
A frustrated look appears on Park's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Hanma pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hanma throws a head kick that misses.
Park throws a head kick that misses.
Hanma throws a counter high kick but Park was just alert enough to avoid it.
Hanma misses with a body kick.
Hanma throws a leg kick that is checked
and Park counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Hanma seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Park shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Hanma is backing up but Park catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Hanma covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Park Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
