Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buck Sharpman (ranked 5093 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nqobile Ndlandla (ranked 3152 p4p, 345 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Ndlandla - that will leave a mark!
Ndlandla lands with a right hand.
Sharpman walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Buck Sharpman has been cut.
Ndlandla's coach down at Yaw-Yan Ardigma was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ndlandla's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Sharpman fails to land the takedown.
Sharpman throws a sloppy head kick and Ndlandla moves out of range easily.
Ndlandla throws a lazy right hand but Sharpman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ndlandla swats away the attempt to clinch by Sharpman.
Ndlandla ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sharpman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ndlandla's waist but Ndlandla gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sharpman off to one side.
Sharpman is breathing heavily.
Sharpman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ndlandla throws a lazy right hand but Sharpman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sharpman misses with a wild body shot.
Sharpman has his takedown stuffed
and Ndlandla counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buck Sharpman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sharpman is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Ndlandla just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Sharpman has gone limp and this one is over!
