Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mon Ster (ranked 334 p4p, 50 weight class) and Conrad Hauser (ranked 299 p4p, 39 weight class). Ster comes into the arena with The Automatic - Monster blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hauser feints and then cracks Ster's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ster down.
Hauser fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ster has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ster crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hauser - the referee stops the clock and Ster gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hauser. Ster manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ster is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Ster counters with an inside leg kick.
Hauser pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ster looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Ster's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ster duly obliges.
Hauser misses with a wild combination.
Ster throws a quick counter kick to the body but Hauser avoids it.

Conrad Hauser's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

That was a close round but I would say that Mon Ster will probably get the nod.
