The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Pendragon coming out on top.
Rones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pendragon moves away.
Rones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rones jabs at Pendragon's body.
Pendragon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rones misses with a kick to the body
and Pendragon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pendragon swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Rones counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rones darts in trying to clinch
and Pendragon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rones misses with a wild body shot.
Rones digs a good body shot into Pendragon's ribs.
Rones slips a jab and a cross from Pendragon.
Rones is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Pendragon.

Rones lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pendragon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rones's hands.

It looked like Rones was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pendragon.

I was talking to Rones's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Pendragon is trying to force a seperation but Rones has the dominant position.

As Pendragon backs away, Rones returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pendragon circles away quickly and effectively.
Pendragon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rones lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rones lunges at Pendragon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pendragon's hand.
Pendragon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pendragon swings for the body but Rones moves out of range.
Rones swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rones throws a lazy right hand but Pendragon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pendragon now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rones staying out of range there.
Pendragon throws a right hand that Rones ducks under and follows up with a left that Rones also avoids with ease.
Rones thows a body kick. Pendragon tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Arthur Pendragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pendragon misses with an uppercut. Rones saw that one coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rones seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Rones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pendragon.

and Rones counters with a thumping low kick.

Rones throws a hook to the side of Pendragon's head but Pendragon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pendragon appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Good leg kick by Pendragon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Rones is looking for a counter combo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pendragon. Rones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rones closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Pendragon out cold! Pendragon corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
