Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Objedkov!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Objedkov misses with a wild body shot.
Anders tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Objedkov swivels and escapes.
Anders jabs Objedkov to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A telegraphed right hand from Anders misses the target.

A looping hook to the body misses from Objedkov. Anders does a little dance to reset his feet.
Objedkov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Anders.

Objedkov has closed the distance and engaged Anders in a clinch.

Anders tries to break free but Objedkov pushes him back against the ropes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anders is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Objedkov's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Objedkov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Anders on the side of the head.
Anders shoots in looking for a takedown. Objedkov tries to sprawl out of it but Anders keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Objedkov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anders is trying to break the clinch but Objedkov has him pressed against the ropes.
Anders wants to break free but Objedkov has control.
Anders is trying to push Objedkov away but Objedkov has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Anders's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Objedkov looks to throw the jab but Anders is out of range.

Anders darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Objedkov wants to get back to full guard.
Anders tries to pass the half guard into mount. Objedkov knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Objedkov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anders's guard.

Anders is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Objedkov is controlling him.
Objedkov wants to control from the top but Anders keeps moving.

Objedkov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Anders content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Objedkov has locked up a guillotine! Objedkov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Anders is holding on here and Objedkov must be using up a lot of energy. Anders has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Objedkov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Our winner, Sergey Objedkov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
