Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darren Tellkins (ranked 1213 p4p, 144 weight class) and Joshua Brown (ranked 3054 p4p, 327 weight class). Tellkins comes to the cage accompanied by Rae Sremmurd - Powerglide ft. Juicy J. Brown has chosen Hail Mary Tupac as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Darren Tellkins had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks to throw the jab but Tellkins is out of range.
Brown takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Tellkins moves into the clinch.

Brown has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Tellkins is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Brown is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Brown attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Brown looks to land a right hand but Tellkins moved out of range.

Brown drives through with a takedown into guard.
Brown lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Brown stands and throws Tellkins's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Brown tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brown has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Brown lands a nice forearm strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Tellkins throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Brown throws a head kick but Tellkins moves out of range.
Brown shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tellkins defends it nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joshua Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tellkins moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tellkins scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Brown drops his hands momentarily and Tellkins takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tellkins paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Tellkins counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tellkins.

Brown is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tellkins gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Darren Tellkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joshua Brown.
Tellkins lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Brown backwards.

Brown throws a nice looking combination but Tellkins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Tellkins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Tellkins lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Brown tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Tellkins counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brown thinking.

Brown doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tellkins counters with a left to the body.
Tellkins comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tellkins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tellkins lands a lovely overhand right.
Tellkins smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Brown is rocked!
and Tellkins counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Brown! He's just covering up as Tellkins starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darren Tellkins!
Post fight, Darren Tellkins stared into the camera and said 'I want demario faggot again!!'.
