Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alf Konrad (ranked 3564 p4p, 158 weight class) and Johannes Boe (ranked 1736 p4p, 73 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Boe's choice of entrance music: Agnes - Release Me. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konrad tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Boe counters with a stiff right hand.

Konrad is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Boe.

Konrad darts in and clinches Boe up against the cage.

Boe lands a hook that snaps the head of Konrad backwards.

Konrad throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Boes head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
With the fighters up against the cage, Boe throws an elbow but misses.

Konrad throws a punch but it's blocked by Boe.
Boe swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Boe tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

A nice left hand lands by Konrad.

Boe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Konrad moves in looking to clinch but Boe pushes him off.
Boe cracks a nice hook into Konrad's ribs.
Konrad uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boe.
Konrad tries to clinch but Boe moves out of range.
Konrad wants to clinch up but Boe keeps it at a distance.

Konrad takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

As Konrad backs off Boe throws a huge counter combo but Konrad manages to avoid it all.

Konrad cracks Boe with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Konrad has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Boe to stand back up!

That has opened up Johannes Boe's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Konrad pounces like a tiger and cracks Boe with a vicious hook! Boe is down but not out! Konrad follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
