Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dakine tries to clinch but Lightyear moves out of range.
Dakine avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A countering left hand to the body from Dakine misses.

Dakine looks to throw the jab but Lightyear is out of range.

and Lightyear makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Lightyear circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lightyear counters with an inside leg kick.
Dakine throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Dakine throws a sloppy head kick
and Lightyear counters with a low kick, right behind Dakine 's knee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lightyear avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lightyear tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lightyear, right into the meat.
Lightyear keeps Dakine at a distance using the push kick.
Dakine looks winded!
Dakine closes the distance but Lightyear moves to the side
and Lightyear counters with a thumping low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lightyear thows a body kick. Dakine tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Lightyear fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dakine.
Lightyear steps in and throws a big head kick that drops Dakine to the mat! Dakine looks in trouble, can he beat the count? Lightyear is bouncing in a neutral corner joining in with the referee '4,5,6' they both chant. 7,8,9... he's not going to make it! 10! He's out! Lightyear jumps onto the ropes and takes in the acclaim from the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Buzz Lightyear!
