Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zachery Klein (ranked 23595 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Hogan (ranked 5039 p4p, 403 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zachery Klein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Hogan!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Klein lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hogan doesn't seem phased though.
Hogan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hogan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Klein manages to avoid it.
Hogan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Klein thows a left - swing and a miss!
Klein uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hogan has time to react.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hogan misses with a looping left.
Klein ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Klein drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hogan sprawls and moves away.
Klein misses with a lunging right hand

and Hogan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hogan effectively controlling the action here.

Hogan gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Klein regains guard.
Klein knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hogan on the ground.
Hogan trying to control but Klein is working from the bottom.

Hogan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Klein manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hogan has Klein in his guard.

Klein in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Hogan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Klein is aware though and is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Klein accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Klein throws a big elbow that misses.

Hogan has his foot on Klein's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Klein works his way back into a safe position though.
Klein working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Klein got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hogan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Klein has managed to get both his arms back between Hogan's legs - danger averted.
Klein has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hogan has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Klein should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hogan has tightened it up now! Klein should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
