Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nazim Bardakci (ranked 1201 p4p, 136 weight class) and Lazuran Riku (ranked 2749 p4p, 285 weight class). Bardakci comes to the cage accompanied by Edis - Çok Çok. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bardakci shoots in looking for a takedown but Riku manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bardakci's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bardakci will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bardakci takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Riku misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bardakci manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Riku on his heels. He'll look to pass Riku's guard now, I'm sure.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bardakci tries for a takedown but Riku sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Bardakci closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Riku's guard.

Bardakci passes Riku's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Riku is holding on to half guard well.
Bardakci winds up and cracks Riku with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bardakci connects with a nice short shot to Riku's temple.

We've been hearing good reports from Bardakci's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bardakci tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Riku defends well and Bardakci ends up having to push Riku into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bardakci shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Riku as he jumps to the side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bardakci takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bardakci shoots in and bounces Riku off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Riku utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bardakci is looking to work some ground and pound but Riku has wrist control.

Lazuran Riku comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Riku has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Lazuran Riku was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
