PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Atanase Teodor (ranked 171 p4p, 23 weight class) and Derek Harris (ranked 180 p4p, 24 weight class). Teodor comes to the cage accompanied by Pots and pans banging . Harris is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Not again - You all ready dropped?. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Teodor. That did some damage!
Teodor slips under a jab from Harris.
Harris misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Teodor.
Harris connects with a good right hand that stumbles Teodor. Teodor circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Teodor throws a hook but Harris avoids it easily.
Harris was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Teodor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Harris circles away quickly and effectively.

Harris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Teodor stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harris lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Oh Teodor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harris finds Teodor's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Teodor flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Harris lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Teodor will be OK.
