These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diego scores with a hook to the body. Nile takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
An inside leg kick lands from Diego.
Diego shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nile eats them both and turns towards Diego to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like King Nile has been cut.
Diego cracks Nile with an open hand slap.
Diego pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Diego throws a nice inside leg kick.
Diego lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Nile up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Diego from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Nile's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Draughn Diego!
