PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ford Xander (ranked 24961 p4p, 643 weight class) and Caspar Milquetoast (ranked 3462 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Caspar Milquetoast was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caspar Milquetoast!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milquetoast is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Xander.

It looks like Caspar Milquetoast has been cut.
Xander misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jab, jab by Xander - just one landing.
Milquetoast lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Ford Xander has been cut.
Milquetoast comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Milquetoast walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Xander checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Xander throws a series of punches but Milquetoast avoids them all with ease.
Xander throws a sloppy head kick and Milquetoast moves out of range easily.
Milquetoast scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Milquetoast connects with a jab.
Xander takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Xander misses with a body kick.
Milquetoast lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Xander fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Milquetoast has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Milquetoast with a nice cross.
Xander misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Milquetoast throws a right and a left that Xander avoids nicely.
Milquetoast misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Milquetoast scores with a decent looking hook.

Xander is rocked!

Ford Xander's cut is getting worse.
Caspar Milquetoast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xander gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Milquetoast points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Xander wakes up just in time to hear Milquetoast thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
