Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scotty Vaughn (ranked 7792 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cam Dixon (ranked 5306 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Cam Dixon enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scotty Vaughn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cam Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon throws a body punch but Vaughn moves out of range.
Vaughn throws a big counter combination but Dixon scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Dixon drives through with a takedown into guard.
Vaughn throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Vaughn is trying to keep Dixon in close.
Vaughn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Vaughn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dixon on the ground.
Vaughn can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dixon controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vaughn can't keep his opponent in guard - Dixon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dixon lands with a punch from half guard.
Dixon uses his free foot to push down on Vaughn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vaughn.
Dixon has hold of Vaughn's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Vaughn manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dixon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Vaughn's face.
It looks like Scotty Vaughn has been cut.
Vaughn tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Vaughn could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dixon landing strikes, looking to finish!
Scotty Vaughn's cut is getting worse.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vaughn wants to control but Dixon is having none of it.
Dixon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Vaughn looks a forlorn figure.
Scotty Vaughn's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Dixon controlling the position easily from mount.
Dixon pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Jeez, Scotty Vaughn's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Scotty Vaughn's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Cam Dixon!
