Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Johan Van Der Elst (ranked 5324 p4p, 463 weight class) and Bastien Giroud (ranked 6037 p4p, 491 weight class). Giroud has chosen Khaled- Aisha as his entrance music. Bastien Giroud will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Der Elst throws a looping overhand right but Giroud ducks down to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Giroud throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Van Der Elst takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Van Der Elst throws a sloppy head kick
and Giroud counters with a one-two to the body.
Van Der Elst walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Van Der Elst is rocked!
Giroud misses with a two punch combination.
Giroud staggers Van Der Elst with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Van Der Elst looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Giroud is victorious!
