The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokhela misses with a body shot.
Herzl's coach down at Temp Spar Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Herzl's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Herzl bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sokhela's head backwards.
Sokhela lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Herzl circles away quickly and effectively.
A head kick misses from Sokhela.
Herzl throws a lazy body kick
and Sokhela cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sokhela pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Herzl tries to land a front kick but Sokhela steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sokhela scores with a nice body kick.
Sokhela ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Herzl moves away.
Herzl throws a hook but Sokhela blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Herzl.
Sokhela buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sokhela fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Herzl manages to avoid it.
Sokhela tries to land a leg kick but Herzl saw it coming and moves away.
Sokhela has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Good leg kick by Sokhela there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sokhela throws a head kick that Herzl semi-blocks.

It looks like Yitro Herzl has been cut.
Herzl cracks the inside of Sokhela's front leg.
Sokhela rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Herzl moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Herzl misses with a body kick.
Sokhela punishes Herzl's body with a nice straight punch.
Herzl moves out of range as Sokhela throws a body kick.
Herzl throws a jab but it's blocked by Sokhela.
Sokhela changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Herzl looks winded!
Herzl misses with a right hand
and Sokhela counters with an inside leg kick.
Sokhela throws a wild body kick that Herzl sees coming a mile off.
Sokhela misses with a low kick.
A countering left hand to the body from Herzl misses.
Herzl throws a lazy head kick

and Sokhela counters with a crisp one two that drops Herzl! Sokhela thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Herzl to his feet! Herzl is in big trouble!

Herzl is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Herzl backs away from a small jab... but Sokhela lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Herzl crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Sokhela with a spectacular finish!
