Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carter Donovan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donovan throws a hook but Cypher avoids it easily.
Cypher has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cypher there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Kriss Cypher has been cut.
Donovan moves into the clinch.
Cypher working aggressively here.
Donovan manages to break the clinch.
Donovan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Donovan sizes up Cypher with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Cypher walks into a jab.
Carter Donovan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cypher digs a good body shot into Donovan's ribs.
Cypher bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Donovan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cypher stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cypher cracks Donovan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Donovan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cypher.
Donovan throws out a counter right but Cypher avoids it with no problem.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cypher, as that shot connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cypher takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Donovan lands a head shot.
Cypher throws a body shot but no joy.
Donovan lands a jab to the head.
Cypher throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Donovan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Donovan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cypher throws a shot from downtown. Donovan moves away and avoids it.
Donovan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Kriss Cypher's cut is getting worse.
Cypher misses with a right hand
and Donovan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Donovan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Cypher had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Cypher lands a head shot.
Cypher moves forwards but Donovan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Cypher ducks right into an uppercut from Donovan.

Kriss Cypher's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Donovan lands a glancing blow to the side of Cypher's head.
Oh Cypher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Donovan misses with a body punch
and Cypher counters with a straight right hand.
Cypher seems to have got his legs back now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cypher uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Donovan has time to react.
Donovan is rocked!
Donovan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Donovan is still on wobbly legs! Can Cypher finish him?
Cypher misses with a wild body shot.
Donovan seems to have recovered his senses.
Donovan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cypher was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Donovan looks to score with a jab to the body but Cypher is just out of range.

Donovan just misses with a punch to the body.
Cypher loads up on a big right hand but Donovan slips the punch.

Donovan doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carter Donovan dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kriss Cypher's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Donovan lands with an overhand left.
Donovan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Donovan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Donovan misses the jab.
Cypher is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Donovan lands a right hook to the body.

and Donovan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
