The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priest throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so McLarnin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Priest has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. McLarnin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Priest.
McLarnin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Priest keeps working.
Priest parries the strikes from McLarnin easily there. McLarnin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Priest to escape.
McLarnin has knee on belly and moves into mount.

And McLarnin tries to counter it with a takedown but Priest pushes his down on his head and steps out.

McLarnin wants to slow Priest down by chopping away at his legs.
Priest throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McLarnin steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Priest rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McLarnin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Priest thinking.

McLarnin dives in and grabs Priest's left leg, looking for a takedown. Priest pushes down on McLarnin's head and hops out.

Priest swats away the attempt to clinch by McLarnin.
McLarnin shoots for a double leg takedown but Priest sprawls well. He's pushed McLarnin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
