The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tebogo shoots in but no luck this time.
Tebogo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Joey Thompson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kefentse Tebogo.

Thompson cracks Tebogo with an open hand slap.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Thompson, as that shot connected.
Kefentse Tebogo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Thompson.
Thompson wants to clinch up but Tebogo keeps it at a distance.

Thompson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Tebogo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tebogo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Tebogo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Tebogo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Thompson!
Tebogo jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Thompson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Thompson is not content to let Tebogo control the position.

Thompson is trying to get back to his feet.
Tebogo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tebogo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tebogo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Thompson, who protects the arm well.

Tebogo is working to tighten is grip on Thompson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Thompson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tebogo is really squeezing tight and eventually Thompson passes out! Tebogo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
