Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
maia lands a lovely overhand right.
maia uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Toner.
maia looks for a takedown but Toner sprawls well.
Toner lands with a nice body punch.

Toner drops maia with a right and a left! Toner comes rushing in but maia regains his composure and manages to keep Toner in guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
maia lands a nice looking body shot.
maia shoots in but no luck this time.
maia shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Toner's guard.
Toner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that maia can do to turn this around?

Toner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Toner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
maia throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Toner has his hands clasped together but maia breaks the hold and Toner is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by maia!
