Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between DeJuan Carneiro (ranked 1792 p4p, 83 weight class) and Diego Carlitto (ranked 1244 p4p, 55 weight class). Carlitto has chosen Painkiller as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, DeJuan Carneiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Diego Carlitto!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Summer Carpenter and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carneiro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Carlitto.

Carlitto lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Carlitto swings for the body but Carneiro moves out of range.
Carlitto stuffs the takedown attempt from Carneiro. Carneiro gets slowly back to his feet.
Carneiro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carlitto was well out of range. Poor timing from Carneiro.

Carneiro seems to be working for a kimura but Carlitto defends the submission attempt.
Carlitto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carneiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
