The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teebs swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Strong let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

It looks like Mark Strong has been cut.
Strong throws a poor cross that misses
and Teebs counters with a nice uppercut.

and Strong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Teebs tests Strong's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Teebs's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Strong connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Teebs scrambles back to his feet.

Strong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Strong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Teebs keeps working.
Teebs takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Oh Teebs is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big shot lands for Strong! That's hurt Teebs! Will he recover? Strong fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

After the fight, Mark Strong was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
