Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Pearson (ranked 629 p4p, 79 weight class) and Ace Rob (ranked 816 p4p, 99 weight class). Ace Rob told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Pearson misses with a wild combination.
Good leg kick by Rob there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pearson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Pearson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pearson misses with a low kick.
Pearson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rob looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rob misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rob connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pearson momentarily.
Rob looks to land a right hand but Pearson moved out of range.
Rob throws a chopping leg kick but Pearson manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Rob misses with a low kick.
We've been informed that Rob has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pearson checks a low kick from Rob.
A slapping body kick lands there for Pearson.
Johnny Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rob throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Pearson crashing down! Pearson tries to stagger back to his feet but Rob just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Pearson asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
