Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Albber (ranked 2462 p4p, 283 weight class) and Tony Smith (ranked 4682 p4p, 456 weight class). Tony Smith will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Smith attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Albber scores with a leg kick.
Tyrone Albber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Albber finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Albber misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Smith unleashes a big counter combination but Albber bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Albber.
Albber throws out a leg kick but Smith moves out of range and Albber only half commits.

Smith is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Albber misses with a hook. Smith ducked under it nicely.

Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Albber manages to avoid it.
A bone on bone clash there as Albber blocks the leg kick.
Albber throws a right and a left that both miss.
Albber tries to score with a low kick but Smith moves his leg out of the way.
Nice straight punches there by Albber. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Albber.
Smith takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Smith looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Smith takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Sloppy strikes from Albber. Those never looked like landing.

A looping hook to the body misses from Albber. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
