Falcone has chosen I Will Be Heard as his entrance music. Carmelo Anthony could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Anthony Falcone's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anthony misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Falcone.

Falcone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Anthony was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Anthony takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Anthony shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Falcone's coach down at Stark Slugger Society was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Falcone's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Falcone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anthony manages to avoid it.

and Falcone scores with a counter punch that sends Anthony to the canvas! Falcone smells blood - he's punishing Anthony with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Anthony has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
