The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arteezy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Payakaroon to score with a decent uppercut.
Arteezy misses with a hook
and Payakaroon counters with a left and a right that stings Arteezy.
Payakaroon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Arteezy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Payakaroon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Arteezy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Payakaroon slaps away a takedown attempt from Arteezy, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Payakaroon darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Arteezy's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Payakaroon before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Samart Payakaroon decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
