PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Fujiwara (ranked 516 p4p, 62 weight class) and Kron Kai (ranked 254 p4p, 29 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Yoshi Fujiwara has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Yoshi Fujiwara seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yoshi Fujiwara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kron Kai!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujiwara uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kai.

It looks like Kron Kai has been cut.
Fujiwara ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kai moves away.
Kai looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kai shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

We've been hearing reports that Fujiwara has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The referee warns Kai that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kai lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Fujiwara has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Fujiwara and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
