The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cubbedge darts in and clinches Way up against the ropes.

Way gets caught flat footed, as Cubbedge shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Cubbedge trying to control but Way is working from the bottom.
Way working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cubbedge .
Cubbedge wants to control from the top but Way keeps moving.
Cubbedge is really struggling to control Way but he's trying to hold on to the position.

We've been hearing good reports from Cubbedge 's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Way really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cubbedge . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Way drops Cubbedge with a beautiful combination! Cubbedge stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Way is looking for the KO!

It looks like Bart Cubbedge has been cut.
Cubbedge doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Oh Cubbedge is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cubbedge tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Way paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Way connects with a nice cross there... Cubbedge is looking wobbly and Way recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Cubbedge to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Way jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
