Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hixon Pierre (ranked 4169 p4p, 409 weight class) and Vinnie Sixx (ranked 20918 p4p, 529 weight class). Sixx has chosen The Fire of Power by WATAIN as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre lands a really nice looking cross but Sixx seems unphased.
Sixx throws the left hand but Pierre avoids the punch easily.

We've been told by Pierre's head coaches at Damage Inc. that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Pierre sends Sixx crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pierre is motioning to the referee to let Sixx up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

That was a close round but I would say that Hixon Pierre will probably get the nod.

Vinnie Sixx's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Pierre takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sixx tries a low kick but Pierre avoids it.

Sixx walks straight into a right hand from Pierre - that's dropped him! Pierre jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sixx from any more punishment! Sixx complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A relieved looking Hixon Pierre thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
