Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Santana Blaze (ranked 1774 p4p, 85 weight class) and Daichi Kishimoto (ranked 469 p4p, 18 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santana Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daichi Kishimoto!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Kishimoto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blaze swivels and escapes.

Blaze throws a big counter combination but Kishimoto scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Santana Blaze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daichi Kishimoto.
Kishimoto shoots in looking for a takedown. Blaze tries to sprawl out of it but Kishimoto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blaze manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Blaze definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kishimoto is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Blaze is looking for a sweep. Kishimoto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kishimoto shoots for a double leg takedown but Blaze sprawls well. He's pushed Kishimoto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Blaze throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kishimoto is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Blaze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kishimoto sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blaze's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Blaze throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kishimoto stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Blaze, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
