Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between zill zakman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins has chosen Quiet Little Voices as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tomas Jenkins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, zill zakman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
zakman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Jenkins gets caught flat footed, as zakman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Jenkins has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes zakman off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Jenkins throws an overhand right that lands on zakman's shoulder, as zakman tries to avoid the shot.
zakman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
zakman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
zakman defending well as Jenkins loads up on a big left hand.
Jenkins throws a looping overhand right but zakman ducks down to avoid it.
zakman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jenkins.
Tomas Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

zakman feints and as Jenkins raises his hands in defense, zakman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
zakman trying to control the position from guard on top but Jenkins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jenkins pushes zakman off and gets back to his feet.
zakman dodges the punch combination from Jenkins.

Jenkins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
zakman moves in looking to clinch but Jenkins pushes him off.
Jenkins lands a jab to zakman's midsection.
zakman is breathing heavily.
zakman blocks a jab.
Jenkins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jenkins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. zakman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A big left from Jenkins misses.
Jenkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by zakman.
Jenkins scores with a nice right hand.
Jenkins throws a series of punches but zakman moves out of range.
Nice jab there from Jenkins.
zakman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

zakman is rocked!
Tomas Jenkins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jenkins misses with the combination.
Jenkins connects with a good right hand that stumbles zakman. zakman circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jenkins takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
zakman fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jenkins swings for the body but zakman moves out of range.
zakman fails to land the takedown.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jenkins darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jenkins throws a wild body kick that zakman sees coming a mile off.
zakman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jenkins counters with a stiff right hand.
Jenkins looks to score with a jab to the body but zakman is just out of range.
Jenkins fails to land with a series of punches.
zakman avoids a punch combination nicely.
A slow jab from Jenkins misses its intended target.
Jenkins misses the shot to the body.
zakman moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
zakman works the jab nicely.

zakman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Jenkins wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

zakman decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Jenkins misses with an uppercut. zakman saw that one coming.
zakman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jenkins throws a hook but zakman blocks it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from zakman.
Jenkins getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Jenkins throws a left and a right that both miss

and zakman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

zakman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

zakman instigates a clinch.
zakman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jenkins gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for zill zakman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jenkins wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jenkins is trying to break free.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
zakman misses with some punches.
zakman misses with a hook from the clinch.

zakman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

zakman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
zakman throws a combination that misses
and Jenkins counters with a stiff right hand.
zakman slips under a jab from Jenkins.
A jab from Jenkins does it's job there.
zakman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jenkins to score with a decent uppercut.
Oh zakman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
zakman scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
zakman seems to have got his legs back now.
zakman tries to clinch there but Jenkins circles away.
Jenkins connects with a body shot.
Jenkins slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jenkins throws an overhand right that drops zakman like a sack of potatoes! Jenkins dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
