Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Manowaru (ranked 1153 p4p, 153 weight class) and Werner Jung (ranked 2811 p4p, 296 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Jung misses
and Manowaru connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Werner Jung has been cut.
Manowaru seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The fighters circling - Jung throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Manowaru feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Jung takes a shot right to the bread basket.
We've been informed that Jung has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Jung tries to clinch but Manowaru moves out of range.
Manowaru throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jung appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Manowaru lands a big uppercut and Jung crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jung looks OK. Manowaru waves Jung back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Manowaru throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A big left from Jung misses.
Manowaru misses the shot to the body.
Jung tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Manowaru cracks Jung with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Jung falls to his knees and Manowaru doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hiro Manowaru!
A relieved looking Hiro Manowaru thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
