Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Knudsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickety Cricket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Knudsen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gorgoroth - Destroyer. Konrad Knudsen had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Konrad Knudsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rickety Cricket! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cricket tries for a takedown but Knudsen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Knudsen scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Rickety Cricket has been cut. Cricket shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Knudsen pinned against the cage. Knudsen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A punch combination from Knudsen misses. Cricket shoots for a takedown but Knudsen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Konrad Knudsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickety Cricket. Cricket shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Cricket thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Cricket throwing strikes here but Knudsen is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Cricket can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Knudsen is looking to escape. Cricket wants to stand but Knudsen is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Knudsen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Cricket is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Knudsen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Knudsen!
That's one minute gone in the round. Cricket controls Knudsen momentarily but Knudsen frees himself. Cricket has an active guard here but Knudsen has managed to pass into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Cricket is looking to get back to full guard here but Knudsen has managed to pass to side control instead. Knudsen is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Knudsen tries a head kick but it misses.
Knudsen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cricket looks gassed! Cricket takes one to the chin there. Knudsen forces Cricket back against the cage and clinches. A right hand to the body from Knudsen.
Knudsen lands a body punch in the clinch. Knudsen gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Knudsen landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Knudsen lands a right hand. Knudsen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Knudsen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Cricket's defenses. Knudsen dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Knudsen cracks Cricket with a nice body shot. Knudsen landing some nice looking knees to the body.

That has opened up Rickety Cricket's cut even more. Cricket takes an elbow to the temple. Knudsen breaks from the clinch.
Knudsen wants to clinch. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Knudsen misses with a head kick.
Rickety Cricket seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Knudsen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Knudsen throws a shot to the body.
Knudsen rushes Cricket and presses him up against the cage. Knudsen with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Cricket has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Knudsen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Cricket wants a takedown but no success here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knudsen lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
The cut above Rickety Cricket's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Knudsen connects with a nasty looking knee right to Cricket's face.

Knudsen works on Cricket's body with a couple of short punches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Knudsen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Knudsen looking to throw knees to the head but Cricket is blocking nicely.

Cricket looks to clinch and Knudsen counters with a three punch combo that has Cricket backing up. Cricket nods at Knudsen to acknowledge the strikes. Cricket rushes Knudsen and presses him up against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Knudsen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Knudsen looking to throw knees to the head but Cricket is blocking nicely.

Knudsen unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cricket lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Cricket is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Knudsen pulls him back up using the underhooks. Knudsen connects with a knee to the head.

Knudsen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Konrad Knudsen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A combination from Knudsen does no damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cricket takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Knudsen stuffs the takedown attempt from Cricket. Cricket gets slowly back to his feet. Knudsen has taken the fight to the clinch.

Rickety Cricket's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Cricket will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Knudsen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cricket, pushing him back against the cage. Knudsen misses with a knee strike.

Knudsen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Knudsen lands an elbow just above Cricket 's eye. Knudsen lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Cricket gets control of Knudsen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cricket will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Cricket is looking for a triangle but Knudsen pushes his legs off easily.

Cricket tries to bench press Knudsen off him but Knudsen keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knudsen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Knudsen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cricket can do to turn this around? Knudsen digs a good hook to Cricket's body.
Knudsen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cricket has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Knudsen finds it's way round the side to connect with Cricket's head. Knudsen has Cricket up against the cage in a clinch.

Cricket tries to pull guard but Knudsen holds him up against the cage and eventually Cricket drops back down to his feet.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Knudsen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Knudsen tries to clinch but Cricket moves away and Cricket counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Cricket is working for a kimura here but Knudsen manages to reverse the position and he's now in Cricket's guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cricket wants to get back to full guard but Knudsen has passed into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cricket is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Konrad Knudsen dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Rickety Cricket's cut. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Knudsen bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Knudsen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cricket, up you get! Konrad Knudsen is winning the standup battle so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Knudsen doesn't manage to clinch there - Cricket circles away.

Cricket has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Knudsen is proving hard to escape from. Knudsen controls Cricket momentarily but Cricket frees himself. Knudsen has Cricket pulled in close to control his posture. Cricket must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cricket throws and elbow that misses. Knudsen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cricket's guard. Nice move by Knudsen!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cricket not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Knudsen wants to pass the guard but Cricket is keeping the position. Cricket isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Knudsen stacks Cricket on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Knudsen! Knudsen taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cricket gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Rickety Cricket has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Knudsen is figuring out what he wants to do next. Konrad Knudsen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Knudsen decides to return to a standing position. Cricket wants to clinch but Knudsen slips to the side and Knudsen counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cricket is lucky that one didn't land flush. Cricket is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Knudsen.
And that's the end of the fight! Konrad Knudsen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knudsen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
