Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bradford Waller (ranked 25396 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lio Graves (ranked 3417 p4p, 0 weight class). Lio Graves will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bradford Waller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lio Graves!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graves moves into the clinch.
Graves is trying to pull guard but Waller has him pressed against the cage.
Graves wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Graves drags the fight down to the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Waller distracts Graves with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Waller could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Waller postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Waller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Graves looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Graves had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Waller defends it easily.

Waller's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Waller's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Graves can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Waller controls the pace.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Waller postures up and lands a big shot to Graves's brow.

Graves is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Waller defends well.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Waller closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Graves quickly recovers to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Well, if Waller is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Waller is looking for a kimura but Graves is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Waller to get the leverage.

Graves tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Waller has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Graves takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Waller pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Waller has hold of Graves's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Graves manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Graves takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Graves grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Waller lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Waller is riding his opponent, not letting Graves buck him off.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bradford Waller showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Waller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
