Ster's entrance music is The Automatic - Monster. A fine choice. Sylvia has chosen Some Country Shit as his entrance music. Mon Ster could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Slim Sylvia's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ster misses with an uppercut. Sylvia saw that one coming.
Sylvia keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Mon Ster has been cut.
Ster takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ster scores with a one two! Sylvia had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Slim Sylvia has been cut.
A head kick misses from Sylvia.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sylvia.
Ster misses with a head kick.
Ster throws a head kick that misses.
Sylvia now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Ster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sylvia was well out of range. Poor timing from Ster.
Sylvia lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sylvia lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ster throws a big shot that misses.
It seemed like Sylvia was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A telegraphed right hand from Sylvia misses the target.
Ster defending well as Sylvia loads up on a big left hand.
Sylvia throws a jab but it's blocked by Ster.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ster looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ster.
Ster throws a lazy body kick
and Sylvia counters with a stiff right hand.

Mon Ster's cut is getting worse.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sylvia. That's going to slow Ster down.
Ster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ster has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Beta Fail in the buildup to the fight.
Sylvia darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sylvia takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ster fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sylvia lands a front kick.
Sylvia connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ster. Ster circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sylvia throws a series of strikes that have Ster backpedaling.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sylvia throws a right hand that Ster ducks under and follows up with a left that Ster also avoids with ease.
Ster has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Mon Ster's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Ster throws a lazy uppercut

and Sylvia counters with a nice right hand that sends Ster toppling to the canvas! Ster scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Sylvia finish him?!

Jeez, Mon Ster's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mon Ster's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Slim Sylvia!
Slim Sylvia really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Freebok (85% Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
