Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Mon (ranked 5747 p4p, 557 weight class) and Kappa Knox (ranked 5932 p4p, 567 weight class). Knox has chosen 'Til I Collapse | Eminem as his entrance music. Steve Mon has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Mon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kappa Knox!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Knox lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mon at a distance.
Mon throws a lazy head kick
letting Knox counter with a right hand.

It looks like Steve Mon has been cut.
Mon misses with the combination.
Knox lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Mon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knox but Knox pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mon throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Nice jab there from Knox.
Knox tests Mon's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A big left from Mon misses.
Knox keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Knox cracks Mon with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mon looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Knox finish him?

Mon is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knox jabs at Mon's body.
Mon is breathing heavily.
Mon misses with a double jab
and Knox counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kappa Knox is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mon shoots in looking for a takedown. Knox tries to sprawl out of it but Mon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Knox manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Knox connects with the punch.

Steve Mon's cut is getting worse.

Knox feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mon sprawling to the canvas! Mon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Knox finish him?!
Oh Mon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mon keeps the fight on the outside.
Knox lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Mon head around and knocks him out cold! Knox hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kappa Knox!
After winning the bout, Kappa Knox thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
