Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Basington (ranked 6338 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichi Yakuza (ranked 14977 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakuza comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Legend of Zelda, Overworld kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ichi Yakuza is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basington tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yakuza was well out of range. Poor timing from Basington.
Yakuza looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Basington dives in and scores a takedown into Yakuza's guard.
Basington is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Basington scoring with punches to the head and body.
Basington controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Basington with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Basington postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Basington keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yakuza's head.
Basington is stalling in the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Basington drops back looking for a leg! Yakuza is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yakuza manages to kick Basington off! Basington jumps back into Yakuza's guard.
Basington throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yakuza works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Yakuza takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Yakuza takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Yakuza is rocked!
Yakuza takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Yakuza is still in real trouble! Can Basington finish him?
Basington cracks Yakuza with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Basington immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Yakuza is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Basington!
