The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huber slips a jab and a cross from Rogan.
An inside leg kick lands from Rogan.

Huber throws a shot from downtown. Rogan moves away and avoids it.

Rogan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Rogan tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Rogan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Huber defends it well.
Rogan is looking to take a break and control but Huber is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Huber tries to kick Rogan off but Rogan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rogan is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Huber drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Huber thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Huber is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rogan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Huber wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rogan, who protects the arm well.

Huber goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Rogan rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Huber's guard! Nice work there by Rogan!
Huber is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rogan wants to control from the top but Huber keeps moving.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Rogan will probably get the nod.

Rogan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Huber circles away quickly and effectively.

Rogan lands an elbow that stopped Huber in his tracks for a moment.
Huber wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rogan has him pressed against the ropes.

Rogan is trying to trip Huber. He has hold of a leg but Huber is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rogan persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Rogan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Huber's head.

Huber escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rogan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Huber moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Rogan counters with a shoot takedown. Huber fights it but they end up in guard.
Rogan wants to pass the guard but Huber is keeping the position.

Huber is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Huber has his foot on Rogan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rogan works his way back into a safe position though.
Rogan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Rogan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Rogan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Joe Rogan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Huber had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rogan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Huber Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rogan's back instead.

Huber is looking for the choke from the back position but Rogan is controlling his hands well.

I would just about give that final round to Marshal Huber.
Well Rogan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
