Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Justin Credible (ranked 3710 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Beltran (ranked 4252 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Justin Credible has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Justin Credible seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Credible just misses with a punch to the body.
Credible looks to land a right hand but Beltran moved out of range.

Beltran changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Credible looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Beltran just content to control the position.

Beltran stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Credible misses with a series of wild punches.
Sloppy strikes from Beltran. Those never looked like landing.

Beltran fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Credible sprawls well initially but Beltran persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Beltran thows a body kick. Credible tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Beltran shoots in and bounces Credible off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Beltran gets to his feet - Credible follows without any prompting.
Credible lands a nice hook to Beltran's body. Beltran takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Beltran throws a lazy right hand but Credible sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Beltran closes the distance and pushes Credible back into the cage.

Beltran has Credible pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Beltran pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Credible tumbling to the mat - Beltran dives into Credible's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Beltran decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Credible is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Beltran.

Beltran fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Credible to the ground. Beltran is now in Credible's guard.

Credible knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Beltran on the ground.

Beltran throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Credible tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Beltran is in Credible's guard.

Credible tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Beltran's elbow.
The referee is keeping an eye on Beltran - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Beltran's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Credible fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beltran manages to avoid it.

Credible tries to clinch but Beltran moves out of range.

Carlos Beltran dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Credible was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

It looks like Justin Credible has been cut.
Beltran uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Credible.

Beltran manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Credible on his heels. He'll look to pass Credible's guard now, I'm sure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Beltran lands a left and a right that send Credible crashing to the mat, dazed. Beltran thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Beltran connects with a superb combination that knocks Credible out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Beltran before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Credible!

Carlos Beltran decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
