Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Friedrich Von Kuschelb�r (ranked 2305 p4p, 304 weight class) and Publius Sestius (ranked 3655 p4p, 431 weight class). Von Kuschelb�r's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Erasure - Always. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Sestius throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Publius Sestius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sestius tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Von Kuschelb�r manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Von Kuschelb�r postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Von Kuschelb�r cracks Sestius with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Von Kuschelb�r lands some shots froms side control.
Von Kuschelb�r creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Sestius is rocked!
Von Kuschelb�r scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sestius is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Von Kuschelb�r can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Friedrich Von Kuschelb�r!
In his post fight interview, Friedrich Von Kuschelb�r started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
