Garcia's entrance music is Ludacris - Beast Mode. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone throws a chopping leg kick but Garcia manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A little feinted left hand from Garcia on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Stone lands a body shot.
Garcia will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Garcia scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Garcia is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stone sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Garcia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stone moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Garcia feints a jab promting Stone to slip. Garcia then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stone slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Garcia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stone was well out of range. Poor timing from Garcia.
Garcia catches Stone with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Garcia lands with a kick to the temple. Stone shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Garcia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stone tries to avoid it but Garcia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stone to the ground. Stone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A nice side step and Stone releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Garcia slips a straight right by Stone.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sergio Garcia will probably get the nod.
