Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julio Valeron Huhrera !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ernie Tertelgte!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tertelgte fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Huhrera on the side of the head.


It looks like Julio Valeron Huhrera has been cut.
Huhrera throws a body shot but no joy.
Tertelgte throws a lazy right hand but Huhrera sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A left and a right from Huhrera both land. Nice combination.
Nice defenses there by Tertelgte.
Tertelgte lands a glancing blow to the side of Huhrera 's head.
Julio Valeron Huhrera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huhrera misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tertelgte uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Huhrera has time to react.
Huhrera has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Huhrera tests Tertelgte's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tertelgte lands a left and a right that send Huhrera crashing to the mat, dazed. Tertelgte thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Huhrera is rocked!
Tertelgte slips under a jab from Huhrera .
Oh Huhrera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Huhrera throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tertelgte was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Tertelgte lands a head shot.
Huhrera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tertelgte clinches.
Huhrera seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Huhrera swings wildly with an uppercut but Tertelgte uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tertelgte lands a right hand that snaps the head of Huhrera backwards.

Huhrera has picked Tertelgte up - he's going for a ride! Huhrera dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Huhrera passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tertelgte!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huhrera controlling from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tertelgte tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tertelgte blocking the ground and pound.
Huhrera punching from mount but Tertelgte doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Huhrera tries to control but Tertelgte wriggling away.
Huhrera throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Huhrera wants to control the pace but Tertelgte is squirming around nicely.
Huhrera content just to control the position here.
Huhrera thowing shots but they're missing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Huhrera is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Tertelgte is forced to tap! Great finish!

Julio Valeron Huhrera decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
