Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glass Joe (ranked 5413 p4p, 0 weight class) and Po Anubis (ranked 5508 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little jabbing left from Anubis on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Joe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Anubis.
Joe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Anubis lands a really nice looking cross but Joe seems unphased.
Joe fails with a takedown attempt.
Joe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anubis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Anubis leaves Joe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Joe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anubis throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anubis has Joe up against the cage in a clinch.

Joe wants to take the fight to the mat but Anubis manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Joe shoots in looking for a takedown but Anubis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Joe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Anubis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Joe on the side of the head.

Anubis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Joe tries to throw a body punch but Anubis avoids it by throwing Joe back against the cage.

Anubis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Anubis throws a body punch but Joe moves out of range.
Joe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Joe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Joe throws a right hand that Anubis ducks under and follows up with a left that Anubis also avoids with ease.

Anubis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Joe.
Anubis scores with a one two! Joe had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Glass Joe has been cut.

Joe has taken the fight to the clinch.

Anubis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Joe attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Anubis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Joe is looking to counter the offense by Anubis and move into the clinch.
Anubis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Joe moves away.

Anubis closes the distance and pushes Joe back into the cage.

Joe shoots in for a double leg but Anubis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No luck for Joe with that takedown attempt.
Joe is breathing heavily.
Anubis misses with a straight right.

Anubis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Joe sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Anubis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Joe doesn't seem bothered though.
Joe shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Anubis defends it nicely.

Anubis throws a series of punches but Joe avoids them all with ease.
Po Anubis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Anubis lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Anubis circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Joe tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Anubis wins by KO!

Po Anubis decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
